Insonmia 02:58
I'm living in a haze, can't seem to get out of my own way and in a strange display of devolution I feel like an animal. There goes another day flushed down and circling the drain and all I want is to fall asleep tonight. Insomnia is like a uniform for a job I never wanted and I can't get to sleep at all because the room I'm in is haunted by the ghosts of past and present who've been let out of their cages and the ghosts from the future have been around haunting me for ages. Dulled colors on display my wardrobe provided blacks and grays but the hems are torn the cuffs are worn and the stitching has all been frayed more than yesterday so I will go to bed and wait to count out the minutes that I wont sleep tonight. Insomnia is like a uniform for a job I never wanted and I can't get to sleep at all because the room I'm in is haunted by the ghosts of past and present who've been let out of their cages and the ghosts from the future have been around haunting me for ages.

Tantrum 04:04
Walking around with a short fused powder keg inside your head and maybe we've all been a little tense. I've been looking for clues in situations that push you to the edge and I'll try to steer clear so I can fight another time. I hope it's something tonight. I hope it's something that I understand so we can talk about it all. I hope there's some reason why you pound your fists on the floor. You can't stand it anymore. I watch you flipping your switch from great to gruesome, instantly insane, so why were we invited this time? I hope it's something tonight. I hope it's something that I understand so we can talk about it all. There must be some reason why you scream and pull out your hair. We can't take you anywhere and the only one who understands is you. Why were we invited this time Into the depths of your mind? Hoping to shed some light. Into the depths of your mind hoping to find some reasons why.

If I didn't have you around I'd wander through this place, lost in a crowd, a man without a face nowhere to be found. If I didn't have you around I wonder where I would go. I really can't say. I just might not go anywhere If I didn't have you around. If I didn't have you around I'd play both turns in board games and lose both times because I'm a mess and I'd drop all my snacks on the ground. If I didn't have you around Imagine what I'd become. I really don't know but I feel like I wouldn't be anyone If I didn't have you around. What I'd really like to say is that I'm doing fine, haven't had you much in mind but the things we used to do and the things you used to say are viruses that live inside my brain. If I didn't have you around I'd never leave this place on a couch with gloom upon my face and my feet never touching the ground. If I didn't have you around I'd throw away my favorite things. I really don't care. I really wouldn't care about anything If I didn't have you around.

Fake a Life 03:25
Drinking and breathing indecision dine on discontentment that fills you up tonight and this becomes your life.wonder what it might feel like to interact with human beings who look you in the eyes but you're alone all the time. I know how it is to want more for yourself. I know what it is to need more. Are we all what we are or are we all what we claim to be? Everything I know and everywhere I've been says we only see what we want to see. If we can should we all fake our lives so casually? With everything we love and nothing that we hate, pretending to be what we'll never be. Deeper into isolation, a crevasse in your mind that you've had circled for some time and now you're stuck inside. Watch anonymous acquaintances live lives you'll never lead while jealousy and spite are gripping you so tight. I know how it is to want more for yourself. I know what it is to need more. Are we all what we are or are we all what we claim to be? Everything I know and everywhere I've been says we only see what we want to see. If we can should we all fake our lives so casually with everything we love and nothing that we hate, pretending to be what we'll never be.

When it goes away don't act like you didn't know the things that we rely on that you never understood they were never really ours, just out on loan. When it goes away don't act like you've never seen the victims of our spoils lay in poverty and toil while we revel in the blue glow of our screens. When it all ends will we clean up this mess or do it all again or will we rest on our laurels with our greed and relaxed morals while we hang out on the sidelines waiting for a handout? we don't deserve it. Its more than we imagined and how we take it all for granted now. We don't deserve any of it, anyone whose anyone should know. Whittling away the hours of our lives in bored complacency. Praying to a god we swear up and down we don't believe in just to make it so we never have to change. When it all ends will we clean up this mess and do it all again? Will we rest on our laurels with our greed and mismatched morals while we hang out on the sidelines waiting for a handout? We don't deserve it. Its more than we imagined and how we take it all for granted now. We don't deserve any of it, anyone whose anyone should know and where did all the decent people go?
